The position involves maintaining readiness to respond to emergent situations, conduct rescues, operate fire suppression equipment, and effectively mitigate hazards in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire alarms and other emergency calls to protect life and property.
• Perform fire suppression duties including operating hoses, applying fire retardants, ventilating smoke-filled areas, and performing water rescues.
• Provide emergency medical services as a first responder.
• Participate in regular training sessions and drills.
• Conduct fire safety inspections and participate in public fire safety education.
• Maintain fire equipment and apparatus.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on incident responses.
• Actively participate in post-incident critiques and implement improvement strategies.
