Job Description
Responsibilities include coordination of the overall operation within an assigned functional area, ensuring adequate operational coverage, maintaining a safe, dependable and consistent operation, conducting agent observations, scheduling and administering local training, maintaining supplies and inventory control logs, preparing customer correspondence, investigating discrepancies, compiling statistical data for reports, completing administrative duties, performing station agent work within the ramp service operation, loading and unloading baggage and cargo on and off aircraft, transporting items between terminals, aircraft and the bag room using belt-loaders, tugs, carts and other equipment, marshaling aircraft, cleaning and servicing cabin interiors, de-icing aircraft, organizing work groups, and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Requirements include minimum age of 18, high school diploma, GED, or international equivalent, valid, unexpired and unsuspended REAL ID-compliant, state driver's license or maintain all necessary authority and identification to travel for business needs as required, ability to work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends, days off, and be able to report to work on a regular and timely basis, flexible to work additional hours beyond the regular shift, on short notice, and as needed due to operational necessity, ability to perform all duties in various weather conditions and time constraints, ability to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags and other items weighing up to 75 lbs., demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing, ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language, legal right to work in the United States, minimum of one year of customer service experience preferred, previous experience in a team-lead capacity preferred, organization and interpersonal skills are necessary, above-average qualities of leadership, initiative, and judgment are essential, administrative background preferred, above average attendance preferred, some locations may desire previous airline experience including working knowledge of an airline's ticketing system and/or ramp operations.
Pay Rate: $19.21 / HR
