DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Serve as primary support to management in the Financial Reporting & Operations Division.


WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is physically comfortable; the individual has discretion about walking, standing, etc. There are no major sources of discomfort in a normal office environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a closely related field.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Three years of professional experience in finance, economics, budget analysis or a closely related field are required.

A Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a closely related field may be substituted for two years of the above experience requirement.

Professional experience related to the type of work to be performed may substitute for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

PREFERENCES

Preferences will be given to individuals that have strong financial, accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills, with verifiable expertise in general ledger analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Attention to details and accuracy and candidates who are independent thinkers with a strong work ethic and internal motivation.

**Preference shall be given to eligible veteran applicants provided such persons possess the qualifications necessary for competent discharge of the duties involved in the position applied for, such persons are among the most qualified candidates for the position, and all other factors in accordance with Executive Order 1-6.**
