THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with willingness to be part of a team, have the ability to work under pressure, deliver and pick up items in a safe, timely manner, and remain calm and professional when dealing with difficult people. The candidate should always be ready to handle other duties as needed and/or assigned. This recruitment is being conducted to fill an immediate part-time vacancy at the Aging and Veterans Services Department.

THE POSITION
Stock/Delivery Clerks drive County-owned vehicles for the purpose of transporting materials to and from destinations related to County business or services. They also perform other related duties as required. In addition, under direct supervision, they receive, store, and issue supplies, equipment, and a variety of materials used by the various Senior Meal sites and perform related duties as required. Accurate record keeping and reporting is crucial for this role.

Part-time extra-help is a provisional classification where permanent status may not be obtained. This position is subject to overtime, standby, shift, and callback assignments and will perform related duties as assigned. This position is non-benefited except for participation in a 401a program with Nationwide.
