The Systems Administration Technician will be responsible for providing technical support for a wide range of complex enterprise email systems and advanced technologies. This includes the design, implementation, administration, and support of the State's enterprise email and messaging systems, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The Systems Administration Technician will work closely with agency stakeholders, vendors, and internal IT divisions to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable email services. This person will provide outstanding customer service and technical guidance to ensure the efficient operation of information systems that support the State of Missouri's email-related platforms. The Systems Administration Technician must be well-versed in technology concepts, be innovative, well-organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working in a team environment.



This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD), in the Enterprise IT Operations, Email Services Team.

Education and Experience:





Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

Knowledge of operating systems and applications. Knowledge of cybersecurity issues and preventative methods. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software. Ability to research, collect, and analyze network performance.
