Job Location: This position will be located at 920 Wildwood Dr, Jefferson City, MO 65109.

This position is integral in all aspects of the department's systems access requests, transition to a new financial system, and bureau process improvements. You will gain experience working with federal grants and become a power user of SmartSheet, Microsoft Access, and MOVERS.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

• Process departmental access requests for SAMII, MOBuys, and MOVERS
• Work hand in hand with Senior Accountant to test and help implement new tasks in relation to the state's new financial system
• Transition various processes and tasks for the bureau to SmartSheet
• Review, analyze, and approve various documents in the state's financial system
• Work hand in hand with team members to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Serve as back-up to other team members to ensure forward movement of the division
• Utilize Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Access, Internet, and the state's financial system to complete duties
• Review tasks and recommend process improvements related to the position
• Provide training and guidance to new team members as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed)
• Highly organized, proactive and possess strong analytical skills
• Exercise independence, judgment, and initiative in the performance of their duties.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
