MVH - Driver - Part Time
Description
The Missouri Veterans Home is looking for a part-time Driver. We need a trusted individual to safely transport our Veterans where they need to go - doctor’s office, hospital, or specialty care centers. A Certified Nursing Assistant is preferred but not required for this position. If you are looking for a unique way to serve our heroes, apply today.Hourly Pay:
- $16.99 - $17.77
- Pay based on certification
Examples of Work:
CNA Driver
- Transport the Veteran to external medical appointments and perform Veteran transfers and care as required by the Veteran
- Assure protective oversight of Veteran while in care outside of the facility, which may include meals, repositioning, hygiene, care and safety
- Schedule transportation for medical appointments
- Drive bus/van during day and at night, in town and highways
Non-CNA Driver
- Transport the Veteran to external medical appointments
- Schedule transportation for medical appointments
- Drive bus/van during day and at night, in town and highways
Qualifications:
- Current Missouri Class E driver license
- Valid Missouri certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred
- Certified Medical Technician (CMT) preferred
