Description
Job Location: This position will be located at 920 Wildwood Drive, Jefferson City, MO 65109.
Why you’ll love this position:This is a highly responsible position in which the individual provides overall office support to the Bureau of Investigations and Enforcement (BIE). The successful candidate will be a part of a dynamic, fast-paced environment with many competing priorities. The Lead Administrative Support Assistant (LASA) is an in-office position that assists the BIE with tasks related to organization to ensure that the Bureau is operating smoothly, which is integral for the Bureau to maintain standard efficient services on behalf of cannabis compliance and enforcement for the state of Missouri.
- Assist BIE with tasks related to organization to ensure that the Bureau is operating smoothly to ensure staff can work efficiently.
- Manage scheduling on behalf of the BIE Manager and maintains team meeting calendars.
- Arrange travel, meetings and conferences calls and takes accurate minutes.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communication through phone, mail, and email and disseminates information in a timely manner.
- Track BIE administrative tasks to ensure staff are completing tasks within the prescribed timeframes, such as timesheets, expense accounts, onboarding, etc.
- Prepare documentation for new hires and assists with general hiring and onboarding of new BIE staff.
- Assist with staff training and meeting preparation.
- Prepare expense reports and purchase requests.
- Coordinate, review, and track multiple investigations specific projects, trackers and documents.
- Collaborate with and assists DCR support staff on Division tasks, items and issues.
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, word processing, operating general office equipment, compiling and preparing spreadsheets, reports, presentations, record requests, etc.
- Complete related or similar duties and special projects as required or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience.
- Possess a positive attitude.

- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently on clerical functions in accordance with Department and Section policies and procedures.

- Ability to adapt to constant program development, change and improvement.
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite proficiently and quickly learn specialized systems.
- Have a high level of commitment and initiative.

Salary:
$43,344.00-$47,114.92 per Year
