Description
Job Location: This position could be located in either Nodaway, Buchanan, DeKalb or Harrison County.

This is professional supervisory social service work directing the activities of staff responsible for providing protective services on behalf of seniors and/or disabled adults.
- Supervise and direct the activities of staff responsible for the identification, investigation, and intervention of abuse, neglect and exploitation
- Oversee and provide guidance to staff in the development and implementation of protective services
- Coordinate and evaluate the activities of lower level staff while providing training and guidance.
- Conduct periodic team meetings and individuals conferences to apprise staff of new and revised policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support and assistance to management.
- Exercise significant independence and initiative in the performance of responsibilities.
- Perform other related work as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: - Three or more years of experience as an Adult Protective & Community Worker, Children’s Service Worker, and/or Long-Term Care Specialist with the Missouri Uniform Classification and Pay System, OR
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a closely related field, AND
- Three or more years of professional experience in criminal, civil or administrative investigations and/or the delivery or coordination of social, protective, medical, mental health, or rehabilitative services for senior or disabled adults, children, or families in a public or private agency, OR
- A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a closely related field and one or more years of professional experience.
