This is a senior administrative position within the Department of Corrections that is responsible for the overall direction and management of reentry and education services, programing and process as it pertains to the successful reentry of offenders, job placement services, academic education, career and technical education, educational diagnostic operations and college programs.

Direct and administrative supervision of approximately 300 team members at Central Office and at various institutions across the state.

Oversight and implementation of Reentry 2030.

Overseeing job placement services, educational services, work training programs and development of procedure.

Executive level decision making, personnel management, fiscal management, departmental strategic planning, oversight of contracts for vendor provided services.

Other various duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful applicant will have professional experience in one or more of the following: reentry services, managing community partnerships, job placement services, academic or vocational education services.

Supervisory experience required.

Some positions are eligible for a shift differential of $173.34 semi-monthly, which is provided to employees with shifts that begin on or between 12:00pm (noon) and 5:00am, and who work at a 24/7 worksite (i.e. institution, transition center, supervision center, or command center), or whose work requires regular visits to these locations. If selected for interview, eligibility may be discussed at that time with the hiring manager.

The Department of Corrections is the only State agency that currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of service up to 20 years.

Salary:

$102,009.36 per Year
