Minimum Qualifications - Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (ABD applicants accepted; PhD Confirm required by hired date)
- California Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- A minimum of three years of clinical experience in the candidate’s area of expertise
- Planned or active research program in adult and pediatric motor speech disorders, including voice, resonance, and AAC
- Demonstrated evidence of or clear potential for teaching excellence in face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online instruction at the university level
- Ability to teach courses in motor speech, voice and resonance, phonetics and/or speech sound production, and AAC
- Demonstrated ability and potential for professional growth and progressive leadership within the department
- Ability to professionally communicate and collaborate with colleagues in the department, college, and across campus
- Interest in supervising master’s culminating experiences (e.g., theses)
Preferred Qualifications - Evidence of research productivity
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
- A research focus that can take advantage of our emerging technologies, interdisciplinary collaborations, and community partners
- Demonstrated intercultural competence with diverse groups in teaching, research and/or service

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $7,125- $8,646 per month
CSU Classification Salary Range: $6,221- $13,224 per month
