Support Services Manager
The City of Newark is seeking an ambitious, tech-minded law enforcement professional to lead its Police Support Services Division. The next Support Services Manager will oversee the Department’s Public Safety Communications Center, Police Records and Property and Evidence Units while serving as an active member of the Police Command Team.
This position offers a rare opportunity to guide essential public safety operations, champion advanced dispatch technologies and build strong, collaborative relationships across the Department. The ideal candidate is a strategic, proactive leader who blends a humble, open communication style with polished professionalism. The Manager will be expected to fit seamlessly into the existing environment, represent their teams with poise, hold staff accountable and actively participate in Newark Community Events.
