If you are looking to impact your community, the Health & Human Services Agency needs you!In order to support current and future emergencies, our Tulare County Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) is currently accepting registration for volunteers interested in assisting government staff with emergency response at sites throughout Tulare County. We offer flexible schedules. If you are looking to obtain experience and are motivated to support this great cause, you are encouraged to apply.
Typical Duties
When you participate as a volunteer, we will provide you with the necessary hands-on training to ensure your success and a positive experience.
General support volunteers are able to assist in logistical support roles such as:
- Greeter and registration
- Computer data entry
- Answer questions from the public and distribute educational pamphlets
- Redirect traffic and traffic flow monitor
Minimum Qualifications
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for the General Support volunteer role, you must:
- Be 18 years of age or over
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Have a valid ID and Social Security number
