Meeting Street is a special place of learning, where children of all abilities have the opportunities to reach their fullest potential.Full-time Employees Receive Competitive PayGenerous PTO13 paid holidaysMedical, dental, vision and MOREMeeting Street is currently looking for a Librarian for 40 hours per week.Duties Teaches grade and age-appropriate reading, research and media skills in conjunction with students' voice and choice in learningDevelops lesson plans and instructional materials that consistently contain diverse content and genres throughout the academic yearProvides a variety of learning experiences so that students demonstrate skills and concepts learned through individual and group performance.Cooperates and networks with other libraries, librarians, and agencies to provide access to resources outside the school.Models' effective strategies for developing multiple literacies.Provides guidance in software and hardware evaluation.Understands copyright, fair use, and licensing of intellectual property regulations, and assists others with their understanding and observance of the same.Supervises students in out-of-classroom activities during the school dayProvides a nurturing, supportive, and positive classroom environment that encourages student responsibility, using positive motivation, clear classroom routines, challenging instructional strategies and effective classroom management techniques.Meeting Street believes the dignity of each person is paramount.
