Remote Commercial Clearance Officer
Seeking an experienced Remote Commercial Clearance Officer.
A prominent full-service Settlement & Escrow Company is expanding and hiring a Commercial Clearance Officer.
The Commercial Clearance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the timely close of commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills and 2-5 years of relevant experience in the title industry.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, required. Bachelor's degree, preferred.
- 2-5 years commercial title industry experience. NJ, NY, and/or PA experience required.
- Computer experience, including Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft Teams a plus.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Regular communication with Attorneys, Banks, Developers, and Underwriters,
- Prepare Pro Formas, endorsements, title policies,
- Review of LLC documents, Corporation Documents, and Partnership documents,
- Review of Trusts,
- Review of Estate documents,
- Review and preparation of Affidavits,
- Use expertise and knowledge to resolve title commitment requirements that the Clearance team is not authorized to handle,
- Address all client requests, and parties associated with the transition, in a timely manner,
- Seek referral business to expand your book of business,
- Provide coverage to fellow team members as needed.

- Must be extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to handle heavy client contact on a regular basis and provide exemplary customer service.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees throughout the organization.
- Collaborate and influence outcomes through effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commitment to understanding and utilizing the organization's technology tools.
- Must be able to work efficiently, handle deadline pressures, and perform continuous follow-up to meet team-oriented goals.
- Diligent status updates into software to effectively communicate the workflow within the office.
