We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer to join our Security team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests, team members, and property. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced entertainment environment. This individual is committed to delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring compliance with company policies and security procedures.
This position will report directly to the Security Shift Supervisor and will be responsible for:
- Maintaining constant vigilance to ensure the safety and security of guests, team members, and company property.
- Conducting routine patrols of the casino, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
- Enforcing company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
- Monitoring and securing all assigned posts and areas of responsibility.
- Responding to incidents, emergencies, guest concerns, and requests for assistance in a professional and timely manner.
- Documenting incidents and preparing detailed reports when required.
- Promoting positive guest interactions and outstanding customer service.
- Maintaining professional relationships with all departments to support overall property operations.
- Assisting with crowd control, special events, and emergency response situations as needed.
- Supporting mandatory staffing needs and operational requirements throughout the property.
- Remaining available to work any shift, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
- Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous security, law enforcement, military, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensure through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, overnights, weekends, holidays, and mandatory staffing assignments as required.
- Availability to work all shifts based on operational needs.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, typically up to 8 hours per shift.
- Strong observation, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
