Work Here!Responsibilities:Listens to and records proceedings, dialogue, or dictation of reports, correspondence, and other matters.Transcribes recorded material into readable format.Responsible for reading portions of transcript aloud when requested.Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.Minimum Job Requirements:High School/GED; Must be certified by the State of Texas as a Court Reporter.5 years experience as a freelance or court reporter.Must have knowledge and familiarity with Computer Aided Transcription (CAT).Must provide equipment necessary to provide "real time" reporting.Starting Salary: $130,956.80 annuallyClosing Date: Upon filling position
