The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of threat networks, regional dynamics in the Western hemisphere, and cross-border criminal activity. This position directly contributes to efforts aimed at identifying, tracking, and dismantling transnational criminal organizations (TCOs) and narcotics trafficking networks. You will leverage publicly available information (PAI), non-traditional intelligence methods, commercial data sources, social media analytics, financial intelligence, and open-source geospatial information to help partners counter illicit activity across the region. This role supports efforts to detect, disrupt, and degrade networks involved in drug trafficking, illicit financial flows, human smuggling, wildlife and resource trafficking, and weapons movement.What You Will DoResearch, author, and disseminate intelligence products in accordance with the latest ODNI Intelligence Community Directive 203 (ICD-203)Collaborate with senior analysts within the Intelligence Community, interagency partners, law enforcement, and Partner Nations to facilitate information sharing, identify collection opportunities, and support the USSOUTHCOM Commander's Priority Intelligence RequirementsCoordinate across USSOUTHCOM elements, alongside senior analysts, to present analytic findings to senior leaders, interagency partners, and Partner Nation counterpartsAnalyze industry, market, and government-provided data to identify threat networksSupport fusion of HUMINT, SIGINT, GEOINT, OSINT, and FININT into intelligence productsConduct all-source analysis on networks such as Transnational Criminal Organizations, Foreign Terrorist Organizations, and Violent Extremist Organizations designated by the USSOUTHCOM CommanderAssist in campaign and mission briefings, HVI analysis, nodal mapping, and ISR planningProvide input aligned with government intelligence objectivesPrepare threat network intelligence products and contribute to targeting packagesConduct nodal and network analysis and document/media exploitationDevelop and deliver intelligence findings at tactical and operational levelsSupport production related to threat awareness, force protection, and indications and warningsParticipate in secure meetings, VTCs, and interagency engagements; report findings in written and verbal formatsContribute to investigations through analysis, deconfliction, and target developmentWhat We Are Looking ForClearance: Must be able to possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.Demonstrated understanding of threat network analysis and network development.Strong understanding of law enforcement intelligence frameworks, targeting processes, and regulatory environments (eg, Title 10/50/18/21 authorities).Excellent writing, briefing, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency with intelligence analysis tools and databases (eg, Palantir, Analyst Notebook, TAC, etc).Proven expertise in Latin America regional dynamics, cross-border smuggling methods, and TCO tactics.Demonstrated experience working with interagency and joint task forces supporting border security or counterdrug operations.Education & Experience Requirements (Multiple Levels): Level 3: 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.Level 4: 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.Level 5: 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.Preferred: Bonus Points For...Minimum of 3 years' experience in all-source intelligence analysis, with at least 1 year focused on CN/CTOC issuesExperience utilizing analysis toolsets including but not limited to: Analyst NotebookExperience with PAI or All Source analytic principalsExperience with search techniques, information databases, data visualization, and related toolsKnowledge of other intelligence disciplines, including signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT) Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT), Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
