Abdul for Senate is seeking talented candidates to work as digital fellows for the 2026 election cycle. We are looking for passionate, hardworking individuals who are committed to our mission of electing Abdul El-Sayed our next U.S. Senator.

Role Overview:

Digital Fellows will help shape the narrative of our campaign by supporting social media and content creation. Fellows will learn how to create compelling content that engages voters and amplifies Abdul's message statewide. This will be a part time position based around the state. This position offers compensation in the form of a $250 weekly stipend for an average of 15 hours of work each week.

Responsibilities:

• Draft and edit content for social media, email, and website updates
• Support creation of graphics, videos, and multimedia content
• Assist with creative concepting for video and social media content
• Occasionally travel to campaign events to support content capture and live posting
• Assist with organizing campuses and communities
• Other campaign needs as required

Qualifications (Required):

• Strong passion for progressive politics and a commitment to social and economic justice.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic campaign environment and a willingness to learn.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms.
• Commitment to electing Abdul El-Sayed to the U.S. Senate
• Ability to demonstrate multicultural competence the awareness, knowledge and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant and productive ways
• Personal and professional commitment to promoting and investing in cross-cultural skills and awareness related to individuals from broad backgrounds, races, ethnicities, religions, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity and disability

Qualifications (Preferred):

• Previous experience in campaign work is a plus
• Previous experience with design or video tools a plus
• Previous experience working in Michigan is a significant plus
