Residential Community Patrol Officer River Run Community Association Burnham Drive, Case Drive, Houser Drive & Jorgensen CourtPittsburg, CA 94565Job Summary Hammer Head Security is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused Residential Community Patrol Officers to provide dedicated security services for the River Run Community Association, a private gated residential community in Pittsburg, California.The Residential Community Patrol Officer is responsible for conducting proactive vehicle and foot patrols throughout the community, monitoring parking compliance, enforcing HOA parking regulations, documenting violations and incidents, identifying safety hazards, assisting residents, protecting community assets, and maintaining a highly visible security presence. Officers are expected to represent Hammer Head Security and the River Run Community Association with professionalism while ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming residential environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct a minimum of six (6) complete patrols during each assigned shift.Patrol all designated community streets, including:Burnham DriveCase DriveHouser DriveJorgensen CourtConduct both vehicle and foot patrols throughout the community.Inspect all fire lanes, emergency access routes, and fire hydrant clearances during every patrol.Monitor landscaped common areas, entry gates, parking areas, sidewalks, and community property.Enforce HOA parking permit regulations in accordance with Association policies.Identify and document vehicles without valid parking permits.Document fire lane violations, hydrant obstructions, reverse parking, unauthorized parking, driveway obstructions, abandoned vehicles, and other parking violations.Photograph all parking violations, hazards, and incidents.Record vehicle information including make, model, color, license plate, location, and violation type.Monitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, vandalism, theft, unauthorized access, and property damage.Identify and report hazards including damaged lighting, water leaks, debris, damaged landscaping, broken fencing, damaged gates, drainage issues, and other safety concerns.Assist residents professionally by answering general security questions and directing HOA-related concerns to Property Management.Maintain regular communication with Hammer Head Security Dispatch and Property Management.Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs), Incident Reports, and parking violation documentation accurately and thoroughly.Submit photographs and activity updates through approved company reporting procedures.Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the assigned shift.Operate patrol vehicles safely while maintaining a maximum speed of 10 MPH within the community.Keep assigned patrol vehicles clean, organized, and ready for service.Conduct routine inspections of patrol vehicles and assigned equipment before each shift.Assist police, fire, and emergency medical personnel by providing access, directions, and incident information when requested.Parking Enforcement & Community Compliance Monitor all Association-controlled streets for parking compliance.Verify valid residential parking permits.Document all permit violations with photographs and detailed reports.Monitor fire lanes and hydrant access for life safety compliance.Report abandoned, inoperable, or unauthorized vehicles.Monitor trash collection areas for parking obstructions during collection days.Report priority violations to Property Management during the same shift.Crime Prevention & Emergency Response Prioritize officer safety during all incidents.Observe and report criminal activity including theft, vandalism, trespassing, suspicious persons, and unauthorized vehicles.Immediately move to a safe location whenever conditions become unsafe.Contact 911 immediately for crimes in progress, fires, medical emergencies, or life-threatening situations.Provide emergency dispatchers with accurate location information, vehicle descriptions, suspect information, and incident details.Notify Hammer Head Security Dispatch and Property Management following emergency notifications.Never pursue, detain, or physically confront suspects.Follow Hammer Head Security's Observe and Report policy at all times.Assist with emergency response activities when requested by first responders.Prepare detailed Incident Reports documenting observations, actions taken, witness information, photographs, and final outcomes.Minimum Qualifications Valid California BSIS Guard Card (Required).Previous residential community, HOA, mobile patrol, or parking enforcement experience preferred.Valid California Driver License with a clean driving record.Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills.Excellent customer service and conflict de-escalation skills.Ability to prepare accurate Daily Activity Reports and Incident Reports.Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to walk, stand, drive, and patrol for extended periods.Ability to safely operate a company patrol vehicle.Ability to operate smartphones, digital cameras, and mobile reporting applications.Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.Reliable transportation and dependable attendance preferred.Schedule Part-Time Rotating ScheduleWeekday Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PMWeekday Evening Shift: 5:00 PM – 11:00 PMWeekend Overnight Shift: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AMShift assignments are based on operational needs and client requirements.Work Environment Private gated residential community.Combination of vehicle and foot patrol
