Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage cybersecurity controls to protect networked systems and data
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analysis, and threat identification
- Support incident response, intrusion detection, and forensic analysis activities
- Implement encryption, access control, and network defense mechanisms
- Support disaster recovery and continuity of operations planning
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture
- Support compliance with federal cybersecurity laws, regulations, and policies
- Assist with penetration testing, security assessments, and remediation activities
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in cybersecurity
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and vulnerabilities
- Experience with encryption technologies (IPSEC, AES, GRE, IKE, MD5, SHA, 3DES)
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Experience with intrusion detection, incident handling, and network traffic analysis
- Understanding of cloud security architecture and deployment models
- Active Secret clearance
- Security+ or equivalent certification
Preferred Certifications:
- CISSP, CEH, or other DoD 8570/8140-compliant certifications
