Summary
Position Title: Technician III, EM QCWork Location: Gainesville, GA 30501
Assignment Duration: 4+ Months
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM -4:30 PM; May occasionally require 2nd shift work 3:00 PM -11:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Note: Possibility of the assignment to be converted to a full-time role
Position Summary:
- Environmental Monitoring Quality Control Technician: To perform, maintain and train on analytical techniques and methods for Environmental Monitoring Quality Control testing
- Microbial sampling in production areas
- Microbial enumeration
- Microbial Identification
- Water Sampling and Monitoring
- Documentation and LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
- Laboratory experience
- Exposure to aseptic technique
- Ability to work individually and in a group setting
- Ability to schedule self
- Communicates effectively to share data
- Values compliance and data integrity
- Associates degree from an accredited institution with two to three (2-3) years of experience, or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with one to two (1-2) years of related laboratory experience preferred
