Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Training Developer and Instructor to develop and deliver technical training for the U.S. Navy's autonomous surface and underwater systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong Navy technical background in the Navy, formal instructor experience, and expertise in developing curriculum that supports Fleet readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update Navy training curriculum using PADDIE+M, AIM II, CPM, or similar instructional development tools.
- Deliver classroom instruction, simulator training, and hands-on laboratory exercises.
- Ensure courseware complies with NAVEDTRA standards and Fleet operational requirements.
- Conduct Job Duty Task Analyses (JDTA) to support new and evolving autonomous system training.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to maintain current, effective training materials.
- 5+ years of U.S. Navy technical experience.
- 2+ years of formal Navy schoolhouse instructor experience.
- Experience with AIM II, CPM, CeTARS, or similar military learning management systems preferred.
- Experience with unmanned or autonomous systems is highly desirable.
- Active Secret Security Clearance required.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
